US LLC Formation for Poland
Poland has world-class IT talent but competing for US clients means competing against US-registered businesses. A US LLC gives you a legitimate US entity, USD Stripe, a US bank account, and the credibility to command premium rates — all without leaving Poland.
The Problem
Poland has one of the largest and most skilled IT workforces in Europe. With over 500,000 software developers and a thriving freelance economy, Polish professionals serve clients across Europe and North America. The Polish IT sector generates over $15 billion annually in exports.
While Stripe and PayPal work in Poland, Polish developers and founders targeting the US market face credibility and operational barriers that a US LLC solves.
Polish Stripe accounts settle in PLN or EUR, not USD. If you are serving US clients, every transaction involves currency conversion costs and delays. A US LLC with a US Stripe account settles directly in USD to your US bank account, eliminating conversion friction and presenting a US-native payment experience to your clients.
Polish IT outsourcing companies and freelancers compete against providers from India, Ukraine, and the Philippines. Having a US-registered entity, a US bank account, and US payment infrastructure creates an immediate credibility advantage. US clients perceive you as a domestic vendor rather than an offshore contractor — and that perception translates directly into higher rates.
Without proper payment infrastructure, Polish entrepreneurs face:
Poland’s IT talent is world-class. A US LLC gives Polish professionals the business infrastructure to charge US rates and compete as US-registered businesses.
The Solution
The solution used by thousands of entrepreneurs worldwide is straightforward: form a US Limited Liability Company (LLC) and operate your international business through it.
This is not a loophole. Stripe explicitly supports this model — their own product, Stripe Atlas, exists to help international founders form US companies. Our service provides the same outcome at a lower cost with more state options and personalised guidance.
How It Works
The entire process is handled remotely. You do not need to visit the US, have a US visa, or have a Social Security Number.
Select Wyoming ($449 total), Delaware ($439), New Mexico ($399), or any other US state.
Provide your passport details and Polish address. We file your Articles of Organization. 1-5 business days.
We apply for your EIN as an IRS Third Party Designee by calling 267-941-1099. Typically same day.
We walk you through opening a US bank account and setting up Stripe and PayPal.

Banking
Once your LLC is formed and your EIN is issued, the next step is opening a US business bank account.
Mercury — the most popular choice among international founders. Free business banking, FDIC insurance up to $5 million, Stripe/PayPal integrations. Application completed online.
Relay Financial — no monthly fees, multiple checking accounts, profit-first budgeting. Accepts non-resident applications remotely.
Wise Business — ideal for multi-currency operations. Hold USD, PLN, and 50+ currencies with low-cost transfers.
Mercury and other digital banks do not accept registered agent addresses, PO boxes, or UPS mailbox addresses as your business address. We recommend a US virtual office address ($10-30/month) for your bank application.
Note: Approval is subject to each bank’s verification process. We help you prepare the strongest application, but cannot guarantee approval.
EIN Application
An EIN is your US federal tax ID, issued free by the IRS. Every LLC needs one for banking, payments, and taxes.
The IRS charges no fee for EIN assignment.
Already have a US LLC? Standalone EIN application: $199.
Annual Compliance
If you are a non-US person who owns a US LLC, the IRS requires you to file Form 5472 every year, attached to a pro forma Form 1120.
The IRS imposes a $25,000 penalty per form for failure to file Form 5472. This penalty applies per reporting year. Many formation services do not adequately explain this — we make sure you understand it from day one.
For $999/year: Form 5472 + pro forma 1120 preparation and paper filing, registered agent renewal, annual report filing, and ongoing compliance monitoring.
Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) reporting under the Corporate Transparency Act has been eliminated for domestic LLCs as of March 2025. Foreign-owned LLCs should monitor FinCEN announcements for any future requirements.
